2015 ASME Swiss Section Young Engineer Award to MSc thesis of Nicolas Ettlin

Nicolas Ettlin is the winner of the 2015 ASME Swiss Section Young Engineer Award for his MSc thesis entitled:

"Experimental Testing of a High-Temperature High-Concentration Ceramic Air Receiver for Solar-Driven Gas Turbine Applications".

The thesis was performed in the framework of a joint ETH-ALSTOM project. The experimental testing was carried out at the solar tower of the Weizmann Institute of Science (Israel) and the research work was supervised by Dr. Peter Pozivil.
