• Experimental − fabrication and testing of solar receiver and reactors; measurement of transport properties; optical characterization of materials; determination of reaction kinetics.
• Theoretical − heat/mass transfer modelling using CFD-computational fluid dynamics, Monte-Carlo radiative transfer, and other numerical tools; thermodynamic/kinetic analysis; solar optics design.
